The appeal to vote by Domenico La Marca, candidate for mayor of Manfredonia
Dear fellow citizens, dear fellow citizens; after two months of electoral campaigning, you are all called, on Sunday and Monday, to choose and determine the future of our city.
Everyone’s vote is precious, important. In recent months I have talked to you about perspectives, visions, very concrete things from which to start again.
I have in mind, and in my dreams, a city that is finally cohesive, free, fair, fast. A city that leaves no one behind, chooses good as its ally and tries, every day, to improve a little of what it already has. All my commitment in this challenge is guaranteed.
I would like to be everyone’s mayor, I would like to continue to be a normal citizen, with a strong responsibility, but a citizen like you.
Not a mayor closed in his building, but a person in contact with his community, who manages to free energy and make the word power a good force to change things.
We are all called to change, to renew ourselves, to dream.
To go beyond worn-out words, the past and models of power that no longer work because they are no longer able to activate the most important political force: the community one. Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th June, be courageous.
Let’s continue to have courage, Manfredonia.
