The “Musiche Possibili” review, promoted by the Puccini conservatory of La Spezia with the artistic direction of Professor Francesca Costa, is done in…five ways to celebrate the Music Festival. There will be many events in different locations in the territory of this widespread festival which will delight spectators with a varied offering. Trio of events today in the “Mario Fiorentini” auditorium in via XX Settembre 34: at 4pm the Sax Bis Quartet will perform with music by Françaix, Gershwin, Joplin and Weill, at 5pm music will mix with words with “La Macchina del tempo “, which will see on stage Francesca Magdalena Giorgi (voice and narrator), Francesca Baldini (voice), Annalisa Sacco (flute), Massimiliano Avallone (bass), Dario Maraviglia (guitar) and Giacomo Mattolini (piano), followed by docufilm “In the warmth of suspended waiting – The emotions revealed in Puccini’s works, curated by the Music Education department. At 9pm we will move to the Government Palace in via Vittorio Veneto 2, where an ancient music concert is scheduled “Towards the symphonies of Padre Martini”, dedicated to the great theorist, scholar and composer of important composers Mozart and created in collaboration with the Europe Direct ensemble of early music of the conservatory, will perform music by Corelli, Vivaldi, Rameau and Padre Martini, with concertmaster Igor Cantarelli, homage to Maurizio Pollini. The music will continue tomorrow too: at 6pm in the “Fiorentini” auditorium “Un canto d’anime – Puccini e vicini” will be staged, with compositions by Puccini and Brogi and coordinated by Patrizia Cigna and Giovanni Giannini, while at 9pm in the castle of San Terenzo the Sax Off Limits Ensemble will perform in the concert “Three Anniversaries”, coordinated by Marco Falaschi and music by Bruckner, Fauré, Ravel and Puccini.
