Lido Adriano (Ravenna), 20 June 2024 – At the conclusion of a series of redevelopment interventions carried out with Pnrr funds equal to 770 thousand eurostoday, Thursday 20 June, at Lido Adriano was inaugurated, in its new guise, Vivaldi square.

With this project urban regenerationthe square was transformed into a real cultural hubready to welcome musical and theatrical performances, thanks to a redevelopment that aimed to enhance the public space, making it attractive for the community.

The square, which it was used as a car park and that with this intervention it becomes pedestrianhas a surface area of ​​approximately 2,600 square meters and it is the nodal point between Viale Virgilio and the Viale Petrarca seafront. The area has been redesigned with stainless steel flooring natural stone to give continuity to the existing porphyry of the seafront sidewalk.

The street-square system will be able to be perceived as a central place with the new stage for concertsi, the relaxation area and gathering opportunities on the sea side where they can be hosted conferences, concerts, outdoor screenings, markets and every other recreational initiative/activity. With the intervention we proceeded with the complete construction of the foundation and the related superstructure for the new flooring.

White, compact, high-quality and weather-resistant Lessinia stone was used for the paths of the square and Luserna stone, ductile, resistant to loads and non-perishable. In order to maintain the rows of existing pine trees, agreen flowerbed around the square for the benefit of the trees, but also to increase the drainage surface.

A has also been added tactile path to improve the accessibility of the area to users with visual impairments, in compliance with Lve guidelines. Between the new repaved square and the existing car park towards the sea, the green belt has been expanded with the creation of stopping pointsspaces more intimate, furnished with wood-colored draining flooring and reading benches; this area is characterized by greater privacy and can be used by visitors for reading and refreshment in the shade of the new trees.

There are 12 sessions characterized by a modern and aesthetically pleasing line, comfort and durability, not requiring particular maintenance. In the porphyry sidewalk, which surrounds the square on both sides towards the street, benches have been positioned to replace the existing ones. 12 parallelepiped-shaped benches with sandblasted finish and bushhammered seat top in white granite. The fixed stage It has dimensions of 12.80 by 9.40 meters and a height of approximately 1 meter and 30 centimeters to be able to recall impactful shows. The steps, which allow you to climb onto the stage both from the front and the side, have been covered in stone to give uniformity to the square.
