A resort in Baia Sardinia seized.
Seals have been placed on 32 real estate units, including a resort located in Arzachena, in Baia Sardinia, and on several prestigious apartments and lands located in various Italian provinces. The Financial Police has ordered the preventive seizure of availability and goods up to the competition of 15.5 million euros.
Yesterday, the financiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Anconaupon delegation from the Trani Prosecutor’s Office, have carried out a detailed precautionary measure issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of Trani, at the request of the Prosecutor’s Officein several Italian provinces including that of Sassari.
According to the prosecution, a dense network of so-called paper companies located abroad and ready to be replaced if necessary has allowed a 40-year-old entrepreneur, of Apulian origin, to create a complex and relevant fraud in trade of fuels. The massive tax fraud would have involved the illicit supply and sale of over 133 million liters of fuel, producing, in just a few years, alleged illicit profits for the criminal organization for over 15 million euros.
