TERAMO – “With the appointment of the new council and the distribution of all delegations by Mayor Gianguido D’Alberto, we can start again with renewed commitment to carrying forward the City government program. The Democratic Party, to which the First Citizen has attributed responsibility for important and delicate sectors, will continue, starting from the women and men who represent it both in the Council and in the Council, to make its daily contribution to growth and development of the entire city community.
The composition of a council is always a complex task which requires political mediation, making useful choices to put the right team in place to achieve the objectives for the City and which often presents choices which also involve the emotional sphere.. For this reason, in wishing the new Council good work, we thank the Mayor, the women and men who have given their availability to hold the position of councilors and the outgoing councilors for what they have done so far in the service of their fellow citizens.
The challenges we have before us will mark the destiny of Teramo city and the entire province. We need a strong relaunch and an acceleration on construction sites, on the care of the entire municipal territory, on the fight against poverty, on new employment strategies. We must tenaciously continue the discussion, even heated, with the Region on the relaunch of the public healthcare offer and on the recovery of the former mental hospital.
