“The poor candid and pious souls of the center-right of Molise are almost endearing, as they have been tearing their clothes and screaming hysterically for 48 hours, shouting scandal over the programmatic council agreement signed in Campobasso between the center-left and the Cantiere civico.
We need to understand them: it is absolutely understandable that it went against them and therefore they contest it, because the Forte-Ruta agreement is the antechamber of the defeat of De Benedittis and his “court of miracles”, Cesa and Lotito first and foremost, and in all likelihood an eviction notice from the Region for Roberti and the elders who support him.
The center-right of the seats knows this, given the notorious bulimia of power as an end in itself from which they are pathologically affected: unforgettable, just to cite the last paradigmatic example of ravenous instinct, the modification by majority blows of the regional statute to double the chair of the undersecretary for the sole purpose of satisfying the appetites of some councilor left empty-handed. Or the hoax of the Molise Decree designed to maliciously steal the good faith of the people of Molise and give away two parliamentary seats to those who had never even been to Molise.
So why make yourself ridiculous by accusing the center-left and Cantiere civico of having entered into a power agreement?
The answer is even banal: these Sunday statesmen cannot even conceive of a pact based on the projects to be implemented and indicating to the voters in a public and transparent way both the times and methods of implementation and the figures to whom institutional responsibility should be assigned.
Even less imaginable, for those who would even sell their soul just to have a seat (so as not to inconvenience other less spiritual parts of the body…), the choice of the candidate for civic mayor, Pino Ruta, who on his debut collected the extraordinary percentage of 20 %, to renounce the position of deputy mayor and councilor (and related compensation), honoring the consent received with the role of “simple” councilor. A real sacrilege, for the center-right seats outraged a lot per kilo.
If they get over it: Building Democracy and the other lists of the Civic Construction Site that supported Pino Ruta in the first round will vote for Maria Luisa Forte on Sunday and Monday and invite all their voters to do the same, to achieve the programmatic points established in the council agreement and offer the city quality administration for the next five years.
Preventing the municipality of Campobasso from becoming the electoral seat of Cesa and Lotito with Fantozzi’s retinue in tow is now a categorical imperative.
And Campobasso knows this.”
