A tactile book from the Homer Museum at the Civic Art Gallery of Civitanova Marche Alta

As part of the “Lands that read” project of the Mozzi-Borgetti Library of Macerata, the Omero State Tactile Museum of Ancona has created the tactile book “Letter to the Altissimo by Annibal Caro”, dedicated to the Marco Moretti Civic Art Gallery of Civitanova Marche Alta , to be used for multisensory and inclusive visits. The volume will be discovered, “with your eyes and hands”, during a meeting scheduled for June 23rd

Within the project Lands that read of the Mozzi-Borgetti Library of Macerata, the Homer State Tactile Museum of Ancona he made a tactile book – i.e. with relief images and highly readable texts and in Braille, a fundamental tool for those with a visual disability – entitled Letter to the Most High by Annibal Caro and dedicated to Marco Moretti Civic Art Gallery of Civitanova Marche Altato be used for multisensory and inclusive visits.
The volume contains a story conceived around the figure of the Renaissance man of letters Hannibal Caroin whose birthplace the Civic Art Gallery was organized.

Therefore during a meeting scheduled for the second afternoon of Sunday 23 June (6.30 pm; at this link the complete program), «we will find out with your eyes and hands the tactile book dedicated to the Art Gallery in the delightful garden – they explain from the Omero Museum -, embraced by the rolling hills of the Marche region, and then we will make a short visit to the rooms of the Art Gallery and its incredible laboratory engraving and intaglio printingguided by the words of the director Enrica Bruni».
