child bitten by a dog, crippled by the drunken owner

A dog bites a child and the drunken owner ends up in urban trouble.

In recent days, in fact, the flying squad agents intervened in via San Lorenzo, where a child, while playing with other peers, had been bitten and scratched by a dog.

Immediate searches made it possible to identify the alleged owner of the animal, a 33-year-old Romanian citizen, in an evident state of drunkenness.

The man, already the recipient of a ban on access to the historic center of Viterbo, was administratively sanctioned, subjected to the preventive measure of oral warning and removed from the entire urban area within the city walls, where he will not be able to return for a year.

The urban ban, a ban on access and parking in the center of the capital, was ordered by the police commissioner of Viterbo, following a scrupulous investigation carried out by the anti-crime police, also against another man.

In this case the magnifying glass of the flying squad was concentrated on Viale Trento, in the area subjected to daily and frequent checks by the state police.

Specifically, the police made contact with the 118 health personnel while they were rescuing a 29-year-old Nigerian citizen who was intoxicated.

The man was sanctioned for disorderly drunkenness and, considering that the urban area where he was caught is subject by municipal regulation to specific provisions for the protection of urban decorum, the police commissioner’s measure was taken, which will force him to stay away from the avenue Trento for 12 months.

Failure to comply with the prevention measure is punishable, pursuant to Law no. 123 of 2023, with imprisonment from 1 year to 3 years and a fine from ten thousand to twenty-four thousand euros.
