June at the “Vecchie Segherie” of Bisceglie on the readers’ staircase with “Stregherie”

Four meetings on the steps of via Porto, dedicated to books and reading: with “Witchcraft” the cycle of events organized by the Vecchie Segherie Mastrototaro returns in June under the summer sky of Bisceglie which will host, as every year, the finalists of the prestigious Witch Award.

The satirical cartoonist will open the author’s evenings on Thursday 20 June Mario Natangelo which presents “Ash“, a book in which irony and the painful story of the loss of a loved one are mixed. Davide Sette in dialogue with him, an event in collaboration with Bicomix and the URCA Association.

Friday 21st appointment with the Lectio Magistralis of Luca Sommi on “The most beautiful“: a journey into the story and discovery of the beauty of our Constitution and why it is important (and always relevant) to defend it.

On Saturday 22nd we are preparing for the new edition of the 42 degrees festival – Sustainable ideas by Segherie Mastrototaro, with the Lectio Magistralis by Stefano Mancuso that in “Fitopolis” explores the possibilities of the city of the future, in which the relationship with plants and animals becomes a paradigm of growth and even survival.

It ends on a high note on Sunday 23rd with the usual and highly anticipated appointment with the authors of the Strega Prize 2024. The six finalists meet the public of Bisceglie for an evening event hosted by Alessandra Tedesco and readings by Iaia Forte.

All meetings include free entry, starting from 8.30 pm.
