Maturity 2024: exams begin for over five thousand Lucanian students.
here is the message from the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Potenza – Muro Lucano – Marsiconuovo to boys and girls:

Maturity is not just a test, but a road that opens horizonsand embrace the future that you already cultivate like a source force.
It’s not just about demonstrating knowledge or technical skills, but about putting the intelligence of the heart into it, the one that combines all the experiences, affections and desires that are projecting you towards tomorrow.
Many people accompany you at this moment: parents, teachers, friends. I too am close to you and I feel all your trepidation and the charge of your enthusiasm.
Don’t let yourself be trapped by performance anxiety or conceptual maps, but be yourself, with that intellectual honesty that appeals to the true and the beautiful, the foundations of the unity of our life.
In these years we will be called together to decline hope and disenchantment in an increasingly complex society, leaving the ability to be amazed by the good and gratuitousness of creation to remain intact.
What you are experiencing is a common passage that makes you unique protagonists of an experience that appeals to life.
