The project supports an experimentation that is divided into seven lines of activity:
Line 1 – Coordination.
Line 2 – Aggregative/socio-educational activities, street education, community educational agreements and promotion of participation and autonomy.
Line 3 – Educational actions for the prevention of school dropout and activation of measures for returning to the educational path.
Line 4 – Accompaniment and support for parental figures.
Line 5 – Psychological support and promotion of emotional intelligence for boys and girls.
Line 6 – Inclusion internships.
Line 7 – Set up of the Multifunctional Experience Space (infrastructure and furnishings).
For this purpose it is intended to respond to the required characteristics of a dedicated, adequate and functional headquarters for carrying out the different activities envisaged by the project, making functional a structure within the complex of the former Barletta Distillery, a strategic site as it is already at the center of a broader recovery and revalorization process. The nominated project, for a total amount of €2,968,641.17, intends to respond to the needs of girls and boys to try out differentiated experiences that will benefit from the presence of attentive adults capable of listening. Furthermore, it intends to accompany families of pre-adolescents and adolescents in dealing with the normal difficulties related to raising children or critical passages in the family’s life cycle, so as to prevent any uncomfortable situations and promote well-being. Indirect recipients are local operators, as well as schools, institutions, local services and third sector bodies.
“The project proposal called “DesTEENazioni SpaziA.LI”, – underlines the Councilor for Social Policies Rosaria Mirabello – recalls the target of users, the teen agers, and refers to the dimensions of Free and Inclusive Reception (ALI) that the project intends to create, in physical spaces specially designed for them, within the municipal property in via Marconi, located in the Borgovilla – Patalini district. It represents the center of all the actions envisaged in the project with the objective to encourage participation, the development of potential, integration, social inclusion, the fight against school dropout and the enhancement of the emotional and relational skills of the young generations. We think that through the implementation of this project we can contribute to providing value to young people by offering both dedicated spaces and targeted activities, aimed at promoting better growth and providing them with an orientation path that makes them aware, autonomous and responsible in making a decisive choice for their lives”.
