A new Provincial Secretariat came to life in the NSC structure: last June 14, following a unanimous vote by the members, the new Provincial Secretary of Campobasso, Gennaro Tiano, was elected, to whom the Provincial Secretaries and members participants in the congress and the entire NSC send their best wishes for lively trade union activity in the Molise region. The presence of the basic trade union structures is a cornerstone for the New Carabinieri Union: they constitute the first contact with colleagues for receiving reports and the first contact for discussion for the management of local issues with the Administration.
Isernia, Venafro, Campobasso and Bojano were the departments visited by the trade union delegation of the New Carabinieri Union, composed of Deputy General Secretary Michele Capece, National Secretary Irene Carpanese, Provincial General Secretary of Isernia Agostino Sollecchia and Provincial General Secretary of Frosinone Raffaele Fardella. The meetings with colleagues and with the Commanders of the various departments were very fruitful and appreciated, with whom pleasant chats were established to discuss and share ideas and initiatives to carry forward together.
The NSC secretaries brought – in some situations for the very first time – knowledge of the trade union world and the missions of the New Carabinieri Union, starting from the negotiation objective on the renewal of the Carabinieri contract, which is to allocate the funds available for the increase in salaries and allowances of those who work most in contact with the community and on the street. We are proud to have transmitted, in these days of intense trade union activity, the mindset of NSC which is based on direct confrontation with the administration and with the carabinieri of all levels, with the primary objective of bringing progress to the Administration and the life of each of us.
Of considerable satisfaction is the fact that the same Station, Company and Provincial commanders that we met showed openness in understanding the ideas of NSC and shared the concept that the union – if carried out with loyal and genuine methods and means – is to be consider itself an indispensable and functional tool for the Carabinieri community.
