MAGLIANO IN TOSCANA (GROSSETO) – Another fatal accident in the Grosseto countryside. A farmer died this afternoon, 18 June 2024, in the Sant’Andrea area, in Magliano in Toscana, while he was working in the middle of an olive grove. His tractor would have overturned, causing the man to fall to the ground.
The ambulance, the firefighters and the Pegaso air ambulance attended the scene. Despite various resuscitation attempts, there was nothing that could be done for the man.
UPDATE AT 6.30 PM
The victim is Renato Galli, 66 year old retired surveyor. The man was working with the tractor in a field he owned, which is located just above the edge of the Sp 146 of Magliano in Toscana, when, perhaps due to an illness, he lost control of the vehicle which overturned .
