A new roundabout to ease vehicular traffic and make the junction between state road 640 and the Moselle road safer. On the “front” of combating the phenomenon of waste abandonment, however, it has been ensured that surveillance cameras will be installed in all twenty lay-bys which, along the Strada degli Scrittori, cover the entire stretch that connects the city of the Temples to the capital of Nisseno. These are the commitments made by Anas during a meeting that took place at the territorial headquarters of the government of Agrigento.
According to what was reported by the prefect, Filippo Romano, the Municipality of Agrigento, in order to improve the safety conditions of the Moselle road, has ensured that the maintenance works will soon start while waiting for Anas to present the roundabout project which has in any case been authorized by the Superintendence of cultural heritage.

As regards the maintenance works on the Empedoclino section of the state road 115, again according to what was reported by the prefect, Anas, after the recent opening of the road, has expressed its willingness to resume the works from 15 September to avoid problems of vehicular traffic congestion during the summer period.
From the meeting of the provincial committee for public order and safety it emerged that to combat forest fires, the Forestry Corps will bring drones into action to monitor and report the possible malicious actions of arsonists from above. As regards the recent provisions regarding the transport of water with tankers, from the prefecture and addressing in particular the hauliers of Sciacca, it was reiterated that they will be able to supply themselves only and exclusively through Aica and that in this sense, they will be targeted checks carried out by the police.
