They will be 5,027 the students of Basilicata, divided 3,067 in the province of Potenza e 1,960 in the province of Matera, who from tomorrow will take the first of the three final exam tests. Below is the message from the President of the Basilicata Region, Vito Bardi.
“Dear girls and boys, you are about to face a challenging test, the first which, traditionally, opens the doors to adult life.
State exams mark the end of one cycle and start another.
After graduating from high school, each of you will make fundamental choices that will lead you to undertake a new course of study or enter the world of work.
We are going through an epochal change in a world that travels at speeds perhaps never seen in the past.
No one, now, is able to predict where new technologies, artificial intelligence, will take us, and how these will change our lives, professions, the very interactions between human beings.
Whatever you decide, however, I urge you not to abandon your projects and to commit your energies to being protagonists of the society of the future, to govern these processes and not to suffer them.
For our part, we will continue the work already started in the last legislature, investing the financial resources at our disposal so that Basilicata keeps up and offers you the best opportunities to live a full and satisfying existence here, in our land.
