PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – Italtel, an Italian multinational Information & Communication Technology company with 102 years of history, today inaugurated its new headquarters in Palermo, an example of excellence in the Company’s modernization plan, which aims to reduce the environmental impact and create a comfortable and safe working environment that combines ergonomics, convivial spaces, ecological commitment. The inauguration event, which was opened by Benedetto Di Salvo, CEO of Italtel, saw the participation of Roberto Lagalla, Mayor of Palermo, Alessandro Aricó, Councilor for Infrastructure and Mobility of the Sicily Region, Enrico Napoli, Vice Rector of the University of Palermo, as well as the presence of other representatives of the institutions, sector experts and members of the Italtel management team. The offices of the new headquarters, which are located in a modern building in via Marchese di Villabianca 121, in a central area of ​​Palermo, have been designed according to sustainability criteria and with functional spaces for team work of around 200 technicians and engineers, engaged in research and development laboratories for software products and design services. Italtel adopts a hybrid work model with the possibility of operating remotely for 50% of the monthly time. A further step forward which confirms the growth of the Italian multinational and the strong historical bond with the Sicilian territory: during 2023 Italtel achieved significant financial results, with a normalized EBITDA of 11.1 million euros, recording growth of 56% compared to the previous year, and revenues that reached 270 million euros.
