The Carabinieri of the Cosenza company have executed a precautionary custody order, issued by the investigating judge at the Cosenza court at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, against 5 people accused of possession and dealing of drugs, mainly heroin and sometimes hashish, in the city of Cosenza.
During an investigative activity conducted by the operational and mobile radio unit of the Cosenza company, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, serious indications of guilt against the suspects emerged. The investigations have documented numerous drug sales in the city center of Cosenzain exchange for an adequate monetary compensation, such as to satisfy the daily requests of the hirers.
The investigating judge of the Cosenza court ordered the precautionary custody in prison for 3 of the suspectswhile to the other two he applied the precautionary measure of house arrest and the obligation to report to the judicial police.
