Through a press release published on its official channel, Lega Pro has formalized the start dates of the 2024/25 season.
The Serie C championship will begin Sunday 25 August 2024 and will end with the 38th and final day Sunday 27 April 2025. The championship will be divided into three midweek rounds, the dates of which are yet to be determined, as are the playoffs and playouts. The usual break for the Christmas holidays is also scheduled, which will begin on December 29th.
As regards the Serie C Italian Cup, the following have been established first and second qualifying rounds respectively on date 11 and 18 August. For groups and calendars it will probably be discussed within the first 15 days of July once the addition of Milan Under 23 in place of Ancona has been made official.

GROUP A: AlbinoLeffe, Alcione, Arzignano, Caldiero, Clodiense, FeralpiSalò, Giana, Lecco, Lumezzane, Novara, Padova, Pergolettese, Pro Patria, Pro Vercelli, Renate, Trento, Triestina, Vicenza, Virtus Verona, U23 team.
GROUP B Arezzo, Ascoli, Campobasso, Carpi, Entella, Gubbio, Legnago, Lucchese, Perugia, Pescara, Pianese, Pineto, Pontedera, Rimini, Sestri Levante, SPALTernana, Torres, Vis Pesaro, U23 team.
GROUP C Altamura, Avellino, Benevento, Casertana, Catania, Cavese, Cerignola, Crotone, Foggia, Giugliano, Latina, Messina, Monopoli, Picerno, Potenza, Sorrento, Taranto, Turris, Trapani, U23 team.
It is worth remembering that the three Under 23 teams such as Atalanta, Juventus and Milan cannot be placed in the same group according to the FIGC regulations and for this reason one of them will have to be placed in group C.
