“Beyond 13 million euros for the province of Ragusa for the realization of new nurseries converting existing buildings or new constructions. It is the amount allocated by the National Government and intended for those Municipalities that are below the 33% threshold of nursery school coverage to bring them to 45% by 2030“. The regional deputy announced it Ignazio Abbatewho took the opportunity to congratulate the administrators of the Hyblaean municipalities, in particular the councilors for public education, thanks to whose projects these important figures arrived.
“Congratulations to the far-sighted councilors and mayors who sent valid projects worthy of funding. I consider the over 13 million euros a great result for our province. Thanks to them, 14 nursery schools will be built including new buildings and conversions of others already existing but intended for other uses. Congratulations to all the Hyblaean municipalities who managed to obtain funding, some of them even more than one. I am referring, for example, to the Municipality of Modica, recipient of 2,500,000 euros for the construction of four nursery schools at the old Scrofani school, Milan – Palermo, Auditorium Marina di Modica and Via Resistenza Partigiana. A result that rewards the work of the councilor for public education and social services who ideally continues the path undertaken by the last Administration. The sums allocated to also stand out Victory (2,520,000 euros), a Ragusa (1,860,000 euros), Comiso (1,680,000), Scicli (1,440,000 euros), Pozzallo (1,008,000 euros). The other funds concern the Municipalities of Achates (840,000), Chiaramonte (576,000), Ispica (864,000). Thanks to these funds, the nursery school system will be revolutionized, guaranteeing more widespread coverage for families and producing other jobs, both direct and related“.
