MASS – Success for the exhibition dedicated to the “small great Italy of the glass” this year occasionally moved to Piazza Aranci given the work underway at the Malaspina Castle
It was a three-day celebration dedicated to quality wine and food and wine which saw Piazza Aranci in Massa come alive from 14th to 17th June on the occasion of the historic “Spinofiorito – The small, great Italy of the glass” exhibition.
An event absent since 2018, eagerly awaited by the citizens of Massa and beyond. The eleventh edition of Spinofiorito took place for the first time in the central Piazza Aranci. A change of location became necessary given the work underway to complete the renovation of the Malaspina Castle.
The inauguration opened with a procession organized by the Ducato di Massa association, made up of costumed figures and flag-wavers from Fivizzano who descended from the steps of the Cathedral to the heart of the event.
Following this, a small delegation made up of the Mayor Francesco Persiani, the president of the province Gianni Lorenzetti, the Prefect Guido Aprea and the Police Commissioner of Massa Santi Allegra, toured the over 40 stands present in the square.
