Serie A2, double against Avigliana. Under 13, first championship victory
Legnano – Double victory for the girls of the A2 series who consolidate their lead in group A by imposing themselves on the athletes of Avigliana Rebels. A hard-fought match was played at the Peppino Colombo stadium, with the girls taking a 3-0 lead in game 1 in the second inning only to then be joined by the guests on the equaliser. In the last attack before any extra-innings the usual Marin Parra with a double sent home Ledezma Roa for the final 4-3.
In game 2, however, the hosts took a 2-0 lead before being suspended due to rain in the sixth inning, which however did not prevent them from winning the final result.
Two intense days for the girls too Under 13 of Malnate/Legnano. A new championship day took place in Saronno on Friday evening, with two hard-fought matches against the hosts: some errors in defense cost the first a 6-4 defeat, while in the second a 7-6 was achieved despite a home run by Nina Giampietro.
