Exhibition in Trento: It could have been worse

At Palazzo Trentini there is an exhibition of a selection of works entitled “It could have been worse“, the exhibition that presents the 40 years of teaching activity of Professor Giorgio Perilli, whose profuse commitment was particularly important for the school at the University of the Third Age in Trento. Open every day until June 27th. The exhibition is accompanied by captions containing the title, author and style of the work. The authors are grouped into sections and are all students of the professor, or rather students, currently around twenty women and one man.

The innermost section houses the works of the Master, in particular the Christ of the Cathedral, in paintings and miniatures. The phrase of the title is a tribute to the professor, who thus indicates to the students the appreciation of their works.

91 years to many friends, all his easel companions, from the Università Popolare Trentina, where he took over from Nicolò Rasmo, to the University of the Third Age, up to the most recent work for the Trento Painters Association Group alone. The Maestro has a professional and creative career that has lasted uninterrupted since 1958.

The artist is a native of Chieti and one of the works on display is dedicated to his city. Exhibition hours: Mon-Fri 10am-7pm and Sat-Sun 10am-12pm and 3pm-6pm. The artists on display are: Giorgio Perilli, Lucia Berlanda, Carla Capra, Liana Casatta, Bruna Cognola, Carla Decarli, Palma Iantoschi, Marcella Marchesoni, Franco Pedrotti, Danielle Poli, Adriana Selva, Dolores Tomasi, Anna Zanzotti, Marta Zini, Fiorella Zocchio and Germana Zuccatti.
