Andrea Pizzardi is the new President of the Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna for the four-year period 2024-28. He succeeds Maurizio Minghelli who held the position in the previous mandate
Pizzardi joins the Presidential Council of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna led by Annalisa Sassi.
The new regional President, born in 1979, has a degree in Economics of Public Administrations and International Institutions with specialization in Businesses and Financial Markets. After work experience in the family business he decided to start his own business with Iperwood srl, of which he is sole director, dedicating himself to the industrial development of Novowood, an innovative composite wood material created specifically for flooring profiles, coverings and sunshades , totally sustainable and alternative to the use of natural wood. Today Iperwood, which has 32 employees, is a leader in its sector, sells more than 1 million kg of finished product annually and makes the circular economy its company mission: thanks to the use of secondary raw materials it allows annual savings for the planet of approximately 600 thousand kg of CO2.
From a young age he joined the Young Entrepreneurs: from 2015 to 2023 he was Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro. Since 1 June 2022 he has been President of the Small Industry of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro and member of the Presidential Council of the Association for the four-year period 2022-2026.
