The message immediately went viral on social media and the main national sports websites (a Reuters journalist even took an interest in the story, interviewing Petrini shortly before kick-off, while Cristiano Militello from Striscia la Notizia, present at the stadium, shared an Instagram story) and “I hope it reaches Luciano Spalletti, already I would be very happy with your answer”, concludes Petrini. If the coach, perhaps through a foil, agreed to attend the wedding, it would be the fateful yes, in every sense.
