Andrea Ventura and Riccardo Longo are the winners of the seventh edition of the Guglielmo Bottarelli Memorial for rookies which took place on the streets of Brescia. Ventura, from Varese from Saronno of the Polisportiva Besanese, obtained his first victory among the first year boys by beating the regional champion Luca Ferro (Bustese Olonia) in the sprint while his teammate Andrea Randisi finished in third position. After the setback at the recent Lombard championship in Rescaldina (2nd behind Matteo Botta), Longo once again mastered the category by dominating the race with a 1’37” lead over Gabriele Montesin (Feralpi Monteclarense) and 3’39” over the third classified Andrea Tetoldini of Ronco Maurigi.
