At the Cosmopolis microphones, the president of Taranto Maximus Jupiter he spoke about the affair linked to the renewal of trust in Ezio Capuano with regards to the rossoblù bench and the club’s future plans for the future. Here are his words:
”Ezio Capuano has a contract with Taranto for the next two years. He was, and remains, our coach. There was never any doubt about that. Capuano is an integral part of this square, he considers red and blue the colors of football passion. He has a sporting faith that goes beyond mere technical data. There have never been any problems between us. We have one of the best trained coaches in the category; and we hold onto it. For the future we have no limits, we cannot do it with one of the warmest and most numerous fans in Italy. Here football is a dimension of the soul. It is society, culture, economy put together. It is sacred and profane in equal measure. Together with the ball rolling, the collective identity of an entire community is pursued. It’s unfortunate that someone, from time to time, loses this concept. We will make a competitive and winning Taranto. A young Taranto and aware of its means. The goal is to improve ourselves. As for the stadium issue, we will absolutely play at Iacovone. It was Sports Minister Abodi, and not President Giove, who reported this during his last visit to the city. Taranto’s future ambitions, the possibility of playing in our stadium, run in parallel. They are two sides of the same coin. This week I will hold a press conference to illustrate to the city the project I have in mind”
