“What I criticize is the exhibitionist ostentation of this taste, which often tends to override what is the common sense of the majority. Gay Pride? If they want to have a parade through Rome or Turin, let’s do it. One might wonder why they want to show off. Gay Pride says it is demanding rights, but this too should be discussed. Rights are not differentiated, there are rights for gays, rights for heterosexuals for blond people, for dark-haired people, for those with blue eyes: rights exist for people. It’s exhibitionism.” This was stated by Roberto Vannacci interviewed by the Antigone format.
During the interview, Vannacci also spoke about the controversy over references to the recognizes it as a glorious unit. We cannot deny this term because someone others have used it, and I use it and will continue to use it”, says the League MEP among other things.
