Coach William Viali leaves Cosenza a few months after his arrival. The coach, who recently returned to the club’s bench, is now close to Reggiana. However, it was not Viali’s choice to leave Cosenza, as the coach himself specifies in an open letter addressed to the fans and distributed by ‘tifocosenza.it’: “I made a mistake once and I took all my responsibilities and, perhaps, those of others too. I returned, taking risks, to a difficult situation in order to regain everyone’s trust. We managed, thanks to a special alchemy, to recreate that great enthusiasm that brought us one step away from the playoffs. In my head that alchemy made up of people who exalt each other had to be the basis for planning a great season. Unfortunately in the last 20 days, even though we were preparing the pre-season retreat, including friendlies, convinced that we were continuing a technical project in which we believed a lot, it was decided to change it. So, to be precise, this time I didn’t choose, but I had to adapt to other people’s choices. I could explain many other steps that led me, despite myself, to this choice, but that is not the intent of this message. I just wanted to greet everyone with a little more clarity. Thanks Cosenza”.
