“It was a very bitter football year for all of us true fans: disappointment, discouragement, bitterness at every moment of the season; our Salernitana team humiliated and derided on every pitch, in short, a “horrible year” that brought us back to Serie B, everything really to be forgotten, with the exception of the fans, of all the fans who have always supported the team with passion and civility. During the Championship, our Club has always kept its name high, in Salerno and in every stadium in Italy, bringing a strong message of belonging and sportsmanship.
It was also an important year for our many initiatives in the social and cultural field, always appreciated and praised by everyone, which once again demonstrated our great passion and our values, both football and non-football.
On Friday, we met at the “Al campetto” pizzeria in Ogliara, to spend, led by our president Antonio Carmando, a few hours in serenity and harmony, as is in the DNA of the Mai Sola Salernitana Club, faithful to the motto “United we win” . We have agreed to meet in the next few weeks, when we will be ready to plan other initiatives for the new football year.”
