Today, Sunday 16 June, promises to be a difficult day for Lombardy commuters due to one Trenord strike organized by the trade union organizations Uiltrasporti and Orsa. The agitation, which will start at 3am on Sunday and continue until 2am on Monday 17 June, will have significant repercussions on the regional rail service, including suburban trains and the airport connection with the Malpensa Express.

To deal with cancellations, the company organized a replacement bus service, which will operate without intermediate stops, to at least partially guarantee the connection between Milan Cadorna (departure from via Paleocapa, 1) and Malpensa Airport, as well as between Stabio and Malpensa. These buses will mainly serve the Malpensa Express routes not carried out due to the strike.
