Lorenzo Minotti spoke to Corriere Romagna, commenting on the imminent arrival of Roberto D’Aversa on the Cesena bench. The two took turns in Parma, when the former Crusader captain abandoned the role of director after the dismissal of Apolloni, who was in turn replaced by D’Aversa. Minotti spoke of D’Aversa as a high-level coach, versatile and with great tactical intelligence, highlighting his successes with Parma and Lecce: “When I left, he practically arrived. D’Aversa’s philosophy: “Over the years he has always evolved. His 4-3-3 this year in Lecce was very offensive, with two tall, running wingers, very good first and foremost at attacking, while one of the midfielders was often an attacking midfielder like Oudin. In Parma, almost 10 years ago, he played a certain type of football. Today it is different and much more modern. His season in Lecce was very positive: the team played well, when D’Aversa was sacked he was safe and healthy. he had launched many young people and also some little-known debutants he will have to do in Cesena too.”
