The coach said goodbye after a bitter relegation which reached the last day with the defeat at Stirpe againstUdinese and Empoli’s consequent victory against Roma. At the final whistle he burst into tears due to the verdict reached on the pitch and was consoled by the Cannavaro, Fabio and Paolo. After the greeting, the coach is ready to stay in Serie A because he has decided to accept the advances of the Venice, newly promoted after the playoffs won in the division.

Eusebius By Francesco greeted the Frosinone with a very long letter published on the official website: “Friends from Ciociaria, what can I say… As soon as I arrived in Frosinone you immediately made me feel like one of the family, above all thanks to your hospitality and the respect shown. You taught me the love for your shirt and your colors. These are aspects that make you unique in my eyes. It was an intense and in some ways positive season, with exciting matches, others perhaps ending not as we would have liked. We have reached a historic milestone together, the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup. I cried at the end of the last match and in the following days, even today when I think about it I feel so much anger and disappointment. It was an undeserved and unfair relegation, for the courage shown on the field, for the loyalty shown inside and out, for the fairness shown towards referees and opponents. We honored football as I understand it. The context around us, however, is a little less”.
The coach’s message continued: “I want to thank Director Angelozzi for giving me this opportunity: last July we chose each other, I chose the great professional but above all the man. A huge thank you to President Stirpe, a person with great human values and unique sensitivity. Another value added to Frosinone are all the employees, warehouse workers and those members who, despite working in the shadows, have always made a strong contribution, I am sure they will be able to guarantee this company a successful future. Then there are my boys, of whom I will always be proud. It’s true that we haven’t achieved our goal but they have never stopped following me, through ups and downs, with the desire to achieve it.
