The Bologna management’s negotiations continue at a brisk pace with a view to the transfer market. In addition to the numerous names of possible incoming players, especially for the attacking phase, in Casteldebole there will inevitably also be outgoing players. While waiting for the issues to be resolved regarding Joshua Zirkzee’s probable arrival at Milan, a transfer, albeit temporary, would concern the probable loan from Antonio Raimondo.
A new loan?
After the first discussions with the new technician Vincenzo Italiano, the management’s intentions would be to send Antonio Raimondo out on loan again. Although these are only preliminary indications, yet to be confirmed also based on the progress of the summer transfer market session, the Club could take the path of a new loan to continue to develop the attacker.
A temporary transfer which, after the one with Ternana, would allow the Class of 2004 to still be protagonists and gain experience. In Serie B, Raimondo has played 38 games this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 1 assist. Furthermore, he was the under 20 to score the most times in this championship.
The experience in the national team
In recent weeks, the attacker has been showing off himself with the Under 21 national team, in the Maurice Revello Tournament. In fact, he scored a brace against Japan and a goal in the match against Indonesia, proving it again eye for goal. Despite his good experience, he will hardly be able to immediately climb the rossoblù hierarchy to earn minutes and appearances in the first team. Although the question remains whether Bologna might need a player capable of giving the starters a breather, especially given the Champions League commitment and the restricted UEFA lists.
Bologna transfer market – Raimondo’s contract and choices
In the coming weeks the agent of the player, who has a contract with Bologna untilsummer of 2027, will talk to management to make a decision. All to be confirmed however, as if there are no concrete implications the company could opt to keep him in the squad.
At the moment, Frosinone, recently relegated from the top flight, appears to be on Raimondo’s trail. The team meeting is set for next year July 8and after the first athletic tests and summer friendlies the necessary assessments will be made.
