Pesaro, the pensioners’ unions and the questionnaire on RSAs

PESARO – The pensioner unions Cgil, Cisl and Uil have started research to find out the conditions of people hospitalized in centers for the elderly, through a questionnaire available in the union offices throughout the province.

“What are we as pensioners’ unions able to know about the problems of the RSAs in our province and our region after Covid-19?”, ask Spi Cgil, Fnp Cisl and Uil Pensionati.

«We know with certainty that many of the causes of the deaths could have occurred due to the vulnerability of the guests or other factors that now after some time we do not consider it useful to investigate.

However, we think that today at least the 50% of residents in Rsa present cognitive decline, therefore we believe that suitable solutions and points for improvement should be found should the need arise and we should not find ourselves unprepared when faced with situations similar to those we have already experienced”.

This is the reason for the investigation. «However, without having the presumption of knowing the level of security, the compatibility with a modern telematic communication system, the healing capabilities and methodologies of the structure, the safety, the recreational activities, we have prepared an anonymous questionnaire which could allow us to give voice to who doesn’t have it and consequently ask our Region to intervene in the situations known to us.

For these reasons we have activated a anonymous questionnaire which each family can independently collect, fill in and then return to the spaces specifically provided in the union offices”.
