From Pesaro to Ascoli, here is the Women of Wine

The Marche region is ready to welcome the Women of Wine of Italy for the national convention. The region has in fact been chosen as the venue for the annual meeting which will be held from 20 to 24 June. A traveling program that will involve all the provinces and will provide the opportunity for promotion and training. ‘You will discover the Marche endlessly’ is the name of the program which will pass through Ascoli Piceno, Recanati, Jesi, Senigallia, Pesaro (Italian Capital of Culture 2024), Genga, Fabriano, Loreto and Ancona with the Conero Riviera. “The new frontiers of wine, between culture, tourism and well-being” is the title of the national conference organized at the Palazzo Ducale in Pesaro, seat of the Prefecture, on Saturday 22 June. Among visits to wineries and cultural tours there will be, among others, guided visits to Casa Leopardi, the Basilica of Loreto, the Frasassi Caves, the Rotonda a Mare and the Conero Riviera. To learn more about Doc and Docg, two masterclasses are planned: ‘The Classic Method in the Marche’ and ‘The longest-lived white wines of the Marche’. Every convivial moment will be an opportunity to taste the native wines of the region.
