Digital citizenship, recovery of deficiencies, school-work transition, language learning: these were some of the topics addressed today by the IPRASE technical-scientific committee which met in Rovereto in the presence of the vice-president and councilor for education of the Province of Trento, Francesca Gerosa. At the proceedings, chaired by Angelo Paletta, full professor of Business Economics took part Gabriella Agrusti, full professor of Experimental Pedagogy at LUMSA and scientific director of CRESPI (Interuniversity Center for Educational Research on Teacher Professionalism), Matteo Lancinipsychologist and psychotherapist, professor at the Bicocca University, expert in the field of adolescent/youth well-being, Roberto Ricci, president of INVALSI, expert in the evaluation of skills and learning, Alessandro Rosinafull professor of Demography and Social Statistics at the Catholic University of Milan and scientific coordinator of the Observatory and Youth Report of the Toniolo Institute.

The Committee will then be completed with the School Superintendent who will be identified based on the ongoing selection procedure.

In the settlement meeting, the next activities were planned and the first project lines were defined which, taking into account the provincial strategy, will see the Committee and Iprase also involved in the implementation of the two ESF co-financed system projects.
In wishing the experts good work, Vice President Gerosa recalled some issues that the press has also dealt with, such as that relating to the psychological suffering of students, bringing it to the attention of the Committee – which can count within it on the precious figure of Professor Matteo Lancini – the theme of student well-being and the need to combine the school of relationships with the school of learning and skills.
In this five-year period the Institute therefore intends to return to playing the important role of research, experimentation and innovation, also through the development of a network of operational partnerships with national and international research and innovation entities so as to enrich and strengthen the experiences started on the provincial territory.
Within the two ESF projects for research and expert support of schools and training of system actors, the Committee has identified some work areas that will have to be translated into projects to be developed and implemented together with the school starting from the next school year . In detail: digital citizenship linked to disconnection, from an “onlife” perspective which today more than ever characterizes everyone’s daily life; the evaluation linked to the recovery of deficiencies in a certification but also diagnostic logic; school dropout, NEETs and the school-work transition and the teaching and learning of foreign languages. The idea is to organize an event reserved for teachers and school managers in the autumn to share and discuss these work paths.
