FAENZA – A delegation of the Alessandria Civil Protection, led by the coordinator Andrea Morchiowas in Faenza today.

The reason? Join the party”Flood, one year later. A day to say thank you” organized by Emilia Romagna region. In the presence of the governor Stefano Bonaccini and in the heart of one of the most wounded territories a year ago.

A great event thanks to everyone who helped during the flood of May 2023 in Emilia Romagna. Coming from all over the country, also saving human lives.

Civil protection always present

“An opportunity to demonstrate all the gratitude to those who played a fundamental role in managing the emergency. And to those who are still working today to restore the damage, make the area safe and fully return to normality.”

Precisely from that experience, among other things, Morchio conceived with his Piedmontese colleagues the exercise which took place last May and called “Alexandria 94/24“, to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the 1994 Alexandria flood.

“Thrilling”

“When they say thank you it’s always exciting – her words -. Unfortunately in recent years we have too often found ourselves facing exceptional events. The Piedmontese volunteers once again distinguished themselves by professionalism And availability“.
