Olbia, the new Delta Hotels by Marriott was presented today

Olbia. This morning, during a press conference, the new one was presented Delta Hotels by Marriott, part of the prestigious Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, which includes more than 30 world-renowned brands. Inaugurated on May 7th, the hotel represents the first Marriott International structure in Olbia and will remain open until January 1st 2025.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Olbia Sardinia introduces the brand’s “simple made perfect” mantra to the heart of Olbia, marking an important evolution for the local hotel sector. The press conference saw the participation of the owners, the hotel management, local institutions and numerous representatives of the economic and entrepreneurial fabric of the region.

Sabrina Serradeputy mayor of Olbia, expressed her enthusiasm for the investment: “This project confirms Olbia as an attractive city for entrepreneurial investments, particularly in the tourism sector. We want Olbia to be a tourist destination all year round, not only for its beaches, but also for conference tourism and cultural experiences.”

Giuseppe Melonivice-president of the Region, expressed gratitude for the initiative: “I thank the entrepreneurs who invest in Gallura and Sardinia with a hotel brand of global importance. You have taken the first step to promote the Sardinia destination, and we too are working to support this development.”

Paolo Mancaregional president of Federalberghi, underlined the importance of hotel chains: “In recent years, the presence of hotel chains in Italy has grown to almost 30% of hotels. This opening represents a virtuous mechanism that professionalizes the territory, with international standards that enhance Sardinian hospitality.”

Maurizio De Pascaleowner of Proma Srl, thanked his family and team: “We will collaborate with the Municipality of Olbia and the Region to ensure that this hotel becomes a symbol of regional tourism development, improving local infrastructure.”

Ramona Cherchigeneral manager of Delta Hotels by Marriott Olbia Sardinia, praised the team: “We completed the rebranding in record time thanks to the commitment of our fantastic team. People are the heart of our success and we will work to attract new talent to this sector .”

Delta Hotels by Marriott Olbia Sardinia has 124 rooms, including eight suites, a presidential suite and four new suites with hydromassage tub and sauna. Marriott Bonvoy elite members will have exclusive access to the Delta Pantry located on the eighth floor, open 24 hours a day, offering continental breakfast and premium snacks. The Tilibbas restaurant offers regional specialties and Italian classics with local ingredients high quality. The hotel also offers three meeting rooms ideal for corporate events, an outdoor pool and a fitness center.

The opening of Delta Hotels by Marriott represents a significant step for Olbia, strengthening its position as a high-level tourist destination and contributing to local economic development.
