Castellammare di Stabia (Na). Gigi Vicinanza took office as mayor just twenty-four hours ago and the first claims are already circulating to claim the victory of the wide field, more probably to gain one of the seven councilor seats.
The candidates’ chats are still the testimonial protagonists of the moods of Stabia politics. The phrase that is circulating, it is not clear whether it was written by a candidate or a promoter of the list – With the city Proximity to the mayor – tends to belittle the parties in favor of the “100 mocked by political politics have become a beautiful reality.” This phrase, intended to spark discussion for the time strictly necessary to have a chat under the umbrella, opens your eyes to another perspective. To reach twenty-four candidates, the mayor’s list had to include candidates from the PSI and Bene Comune. So much so that the two candidates elected on this list are two personalities who have already held the role of municipal councilor in the past.
In these hours the pressure to find a cadre of councilors to be designated to parties and civic lists is slowly starting to increase, in total there are ten who have elected at least one municipal councilor. No further names emerge as candidates for the council, everyone is focused on the number of “positions” to be assigned. Among the rumors circulating, there is the hypothesis of assigning two departments to the PD, two departments to the list of one hundred, a department of importance to Democrats and reformists, and a department to the M5S. There would be one left to assign to the other lists. In short, with seven positions available, ten lists to satisfy and no attractive investee for Vicinanza, thirty days of fire await.
For now, the role of the president of the city council is not yet included among the positions to be assigned to the majority, the aim is to find, among the elected representatives of the centre-left, a personality who can also create a synthesis with the opposition to guarantee the correct institutional comparison .
