On the agenda of the regional council, convened for Monday, is the appointment of the 18 general directors, designated at the end of January but still in office as commissioners: Daniela Faraoni at the Asp of Palermo, Giuseppe Laganga Senzio in Catania, Giuseppe Cuccì in Messina, Giuseppe Capodieci in Agrigento, Salvatore Lucio Ficarra in Caltanissetta, Mario Carmelo Zappia in Enna, Giuseppe Drago in Ragusa, Alessandro Caltagirone in Syracuse and Ferdinando Croce in Trapani. They are joined by Walter Messina at the Civico of Palermo, Roberto Colletti at Villa Sofia-Cervello, Giuseppe Giammanco at the Garibaldi of Catania, Salvatore Emanuele Giuffrida at the Cannizzaro, Catena Di Blasi at the Papardo of Messina, Maurizio Letterio Lanza at the Bonino Pulejo. The appointments, frozen during the electoral campaign, open the next game, that of the appointments of health and administrative directors of ASPs and hospitals. And they fit into the now inevitable waltz of seats in the Schifani council. Also at stake is councilor Giovanna Volo’s delegation to healthcare, which many aspire to.
