Alma crisis, this morning the mayor Luca Serfilippi welcomed the Panthers Fano group who expressed their concerns regarding the corporate structure, but above all on the future of the Granata club.
The fans expressed to the mayor their desire to meet president Guida to understand the latter’s real intentions, as the promises made and the commitments made were disregarded with the abyss of failure in the background. The fans’ objective is to create the conditions for Guida to sell his company shares to a group of local entrepreneurs, thus ending up holding an entire community hostage that deserves greater respect.
The Panthers have confirmed their support for the mayor and the new administration knowing that the responsibility for this sad epilogue lies with the previous council which was totally disinterested in the fate of the Granata club, showing indifference towards a historical heritage such as Alma Juventus Fano 1906. The hope is that Guida will take a step back and favor a new path for Alma with local entrepreneurs who, through new energy, can guarantee Granata society a stable and prosperous future.
“I will pay the utmost attention to Alma Juventus Fano whose tradition must be defended at all costs – comments Serfilippi -. I will meet closely with President Guida who holds the majority of shares in what is a private company. I will first of all ask the president for seriousness and responsibility considering that to date the commitments he has made have not been respected. For my part, there will be collaboration and openness both on the structures and on the arrears of utilities only if Guida demonstrates his reliability and his financial capacity to support the club. This situation presents many shadows and there are economic issues that worry me, therefore this meeting will have to clarify Guida’s position towards Alma, but above all towards the city of Fano. I assured the Panthers that I will keep them updated and inform them on the developments of this discussion so that a positive resolution can be reached that allows Alma Juventus Fano 1906 to be relaunched on a new path of growth and development, thus returning to nourish itself affection and support from all the fans and the city.”
