Talks for the new council have begun in Laives “in broad terms”. After the victory of Giovanni Seppi in the runoff with 58.1% of the votes, the new mayor of SVP has begun a round of consultations with all political forces to create the new council that will govern the city. The first meeting was held yesterday evening (14 June) with The Laives Civic of the candidate for Mayor Emilio Coreaalso in the presence of Angelo Gennacaro. Seppi’s intention is to strengthen the center politician of the city, an objective also shared by La Civica.
During the meeting the program was discussed and all points were examined, shared with everyone’s great satisfaction. “Their priorities matched ours exactly,” he comments Debora Paquazzo of La Civica Laives who, together with his party comrade Simone Pellizzari, is the Italian-speaking candidate who obtained the most preferences. “The common priority is complete all the construction sites already started, also because there are many! Among these are the square, the new health district, the sewers in via Murta, the water tank, the coverage of Vallarsa. They are all already financed projects that absolutely must be completed and that the population has been waiting for for a long time.” On Seppi Pasquazzo’s vision he adds: “He told us that he has one in mind very large majorityprobably wouldn’t want to make it all center-left or all center-right.”
