Sunday jazz concert at the Corsini Refuge

Monte Nerone, 15 June 2024 – A brilliant idea which follows the one already launched in the Dolomites but also from RisorgiMarche. The union of intent born between Italian Alpine Club, Pesaro and Urbino sectionand the Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro gave rise to the event “The sounds of the Apennines”: these are excursions open and accessible to all, with a final concert at the summit to delight the atmosphere.

People’s response so far has been exceptional, averaging 70-80 people each time. Starting in April on Monte Petrano, the initiative – which enjoys the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro Foundation – then made stops in Carpegna, Gola del Furlo and Monte Nerone, where it will return again on Sunday 16 June, with the Rossini Jazz concert Quartet at the Corsini Refuge.

Next Sunday’s concert will feature Chiara Paoli (vocals), Niccolò Fertili (bass), Maurizio Simonari (piano) and Marco Agostini (drums).

It will be the sixth and last appointment before the summer break, then “The sounds of the Apennines” will return with two excursions in September, first to Monte Catria and then the grand finale in Fondarca, in a splendid natural setting that promises sensational acoustics for the musicians and above all for those lucky enough to listen to them. To participate in the excursion – lasting 4 hours and 8 km in total – you need to book on 333-9296308. Participation is free.
