The circumstances that led to the attack that took place in the early afternoon of Friday in the parking lot of the FanoCenter in Bellocchi di Fano are still unclear.
It is not yet known, in fact, what caused the violence of three people – Italians between 30 and 40 years old – against a young man in front of the main entrance of the shopping centre. However, it is clear that it could have been a ‘clarification’ which then led to an attack.
It was around 2pm when the argument broke out. The victim of the violence was hit with an object. Perhaps a workman’s pencil, a bricklayer’s or a carpenter’s, so sharp that it caused a perforation in his abdomen.
The young man collapsed. A passing customer would have alerted the private security of the FanoCenter. Police officers were also soon on site and arrested the three attackers for aggravated assault. The victim lost a lot of blood, but she managed – with the help of the security guards – to reach the municipal pharmacy which is located right at the entrance, where the staff gave him first aid. Then the young man was transferred by air ambulance to the Torrette regional hospital in Ancona. He would have a reserved prognosis but not in danger of life.
