Two “stops” in Brescia for «Binario Sipario», a project conceived by the Brescian theater company Centopercento Teatro, with the collaboration of the Italian Railway Network, designed for some railway stations chosen between the Lombardy Region and the province of Novara. Objective: the cultural redevelopment of the areas relating to the stations, through performative actions.
Thursday June 20th the action will be entitled «Vita Nuova»: at 7pm, meeting at the station with a guided tour; at 7.45pm theater show, aerial acrobatics and song under the portico of the station. Organized by the «Arnaldo da Brescia» association and Centopercento Lab. Ticket 7 euros per visitshow and seating.
With the support of the Municipality of Brescia. «Vita Nuova», directed by Chiara Cervati, is with Antonio Panice and Monica Vitali (duration 55 minutes). An adolescent and inexperienced Dante struggling with love.
The second appointment will be on July 18th with «Behold she who stinks all over the world», with Antonio Panice and Alberto Forino: at 7pm, meeting at the station and guided tour; at 7.45pm Dante’s incursion under the portico of the Station. Ticket 7 euros for visit, show and seat.
The project (which touches a dozen stations, including Milan Porta Garibaldi and Milan Rogoredo) is the winner of the Cariplo Foundation’s Call for Culture, which supports it with the Association of former BLP Managers, with the Italian Railway Network and with the support of the ministerial circuit Claps (Lombardy Multidisciplinary Arts Circuit). For Brescia (and Novara) the synergy with the «Arnaldo da Brescia» association is renewed.
