The young man from Teglio had a big dream: to become a footballer. Unfortunately Roberto’s future will not exist, his heart stopped at 15 years old. The illness that had been present for a few years did not allow him to continue kicking the ball. “Now you are the captain of the sky” some friends reiterated. All the football clubs in the area, including Spal Cordovado Morsano Teglio in which Robertino played, are close to the family.

The death of the rest of a young person is unnatural, as it is for a parent who finds himself preparing the funeral for his child. «On behalf of the Municipal Administration and the entire citizens of Teglio Veneto I express my condolences for the premature death of Roberto Pio Pannozzo – reiterated the mayor Oscar Cicuto – today, on the occasion of the funeral, I proclaimed the city’s mourning, inviting public businesses , citizens, political, sporting and social associations and organizations to express their closeness to the family by suspending activities from 3.30pm to 5.30pm”. The funeral ceremony is scheduled for this afternoon at 4pm in the Church of San Giorgio Martire in Teglio Veneto. Roberto was suffering from a form of cancer for which he had undergone every treatment. He leaves behind his parents and a younger brother.
