TURIN – At 4.30pm today (Saturday 15 June) there will be Pride 2024 on the streets of Turin.

The initial concentration will be in Corso Principe Eugenio. We will continue along Corso San Martino, Via Cernaia, Via Pietro Micca, Piazza Castello, Viale I° Maggio, Viale dei Partigiani, Corso San Maurizio, along Po Luigi Cadorna, to arrive in Piazza Vittorio. Here is the complete map.
The claims
“Pride was born as an act of rebellion against the established power and the continuous oppression that the community
LGBTQIA+ faced yesterday and still faces today. – we read in the Pride political document – We are people who love and we are people who fight. We want to reclaim both of these definitions, and we want to narrate them according to our unique and different perspectives and stories. We want to define our concept of love, because we have the right to fully experience all forms of affection and relationships, defining the bond of love in our own way, without asking permission.”
The document is developed through five thematic macro areas: person, families, health, institutions and society, world. In the latter, we read: “We stand alongside the communities LGBTQIA+ from all countries at warand particularly close to the communities Palestinian, Ukraine And Russian just as we stand alongside communities affected by conflicts in every part of the world. We call for an immediate ceasefire to put an end to the massacre that is exterminating the population of Gaza.”
