Three new digital variable message panels, which allow you to view the occupancy status of the car park in the center of Legnano in real time. They are the ones in operation since the morning of Friday 14 June near the Matteotti/Gilardelli car park. These are two panels positioned on opposite sides of via Matteotti and a double-sided one on via Gilardelli, in place of the existing one which only indicated whether the car park was free or full.
In the case of unavailable places, the new panels will indicate to motorists with the help of images the alternative of the neighbor Cantoni car park, together with the number of free places within it; they will also automatically warn you if both car parks are full.
Amga specifies that with this new technology, created in collaboration with Sfhera di Montichiari, this will be possible «also temporarily show service information in case of particular events, such as the Coppa Bernocchi, the Palio, etc. The installation of this new equipment, which completes the infomobility provision started a few years ago on Corso Sempione in correspondence with Via Savonarola, Foscolo and Volta, responds to the desire of AMGA and the Radice Municipal Administration to facilitate the search for a free parking space to the occasional or regular visitor to the city centre.
