92% of graduates from the University of Pavia are satisfied with the course of studies and the teachers. One year after graduation, almost 80% found work, 90.3% among master’s graduates. The data was published in AlmaLaurea’s 2024 Report. There were 4,949 graduates in 2023 involved in the Report: 2,372 first level, 1,962 two-year master’s degrees and 615 single-cycle courses. The average age is 25.3 years, 24.1 years for first level graduates and 26.5 for two-year master’s degrees (but not everyone enrolls immediately after graduation). 68.7% of graduates finish the current university: 65.3% among three-year graduates and 74.1% among two-year master’s degree holders. Better than the Italian average, 61.3% and 64.8%.
The average degree grade is 103.9 out of 110: 100.5 for first level graduates, 107.5 for two-year master’s degrees. And, investigating the employment status, of the 2,246 three-year graduates of 2022, one year after graduation, 68.6% decided to continue their training with a second level course. Among those who are no longer enrolled, the employment rate of UniPv graduates is 78.5%, compared to the 74.1% of the Italian average.
The second level graduates of 2022 contacted one year after graduation are 2,423, those of 2018 are 2,158 (of which 1,367 two-year master’s degrees and 791 single-cycle master’s degrees). Among the 2022 second level graduates interviewed, the employment rate is 79.4% (78.8% among two-year master’s degree holders and 80.9% among single-cycle master’s degree holders). The national average figure is 75.7%. The employment rate of second level graduates in 2018, interviewed five years later, is equal to 90.3%, two points higher than the average of other universities. The average net monthly salary is also higher: 1,843 euros for UniPv compared to the national figure of 1,768 euros.
