Many shops are closed and some businesses, once managed by foreigners, have been completely abandoned, with shelves and other material left to rot on the public street, among waste and weeds.

As she continues her tour of the city, Valeria Cittadin continues to receive numerous requests for intervention on the telephone number she has made available to the citizens of Rovigo. Many also concern Granzette, where the sports field is in total disrepair, because there was no desire to assign it to a new manager, and the former psychiatric hospital, which has now turned into a black hole, attracting stragglers at every hour of day and night.
“Participation in the vote for the run-off on 23 and 24 June will be fundamental – concluded Cittadin – Rovigo does not need just one man in command, but 51,000 first citizens. For this to happen we need a new mayor, who listens to them and represents them all, without the presumption of already having all the answers and without dividing them between class A and class B citizens”.
